When it gets cold out, the animals get all crazy and have more energy that normal. They run around like there is no tomorrow. I noticed Buckwheat was limping and not using his back leg. I figured it was because of the cooler weather and then getting rowdy. I didn’t want to move him into the area by himself because it was going to be cold. He was laying outside the shelter because the other ones were being wild in the weather. I did check on him the next morning and he was curled up with the other two goats, so I think all was well. I sure was hoping that the injury was nothing more than the other goats being rough.
