Chicken vs Cat

As we were out in the pasture, I look over and see Jelly following us. He stopped and rolled in the dirt trying to look cute. Then I see a chicken walking toward the cat and didn’t think much of it until the chicken started running toward the cat and then chasing the cat. Jelly ran from the chicken. I really do not know what that was about. But that continued for a few minutes. Jelly would sit down somewhere and the chicken would start chasing him again. How weird is that?? The cat is terrified of the chickens.
