So, we have this toxic plant in the pastures, which I haven't seen since spring this year. Apparently it makes them act high. Jeb was stumbling and acting confused but then had the signs of colic so we started treating him. Ronnie had to run to the store to get more supplies and he was still in the same spot and we could not get him up. He finally got up and Ronnie started walking him like you would for a horse with colic. We noticed the minute he wasn't high anymore. It was like he snapped out of it and wanted food. It was a complete turn around. His eyes were clear and his ears were up. He wanted food and he ate every bit of it and then drank some water. If it was colic, he would not have eaten. Oh I was so mad at him. I’m glad he was fine though. He did this a lot a few years ago. There has only been one other time this year we went through it this year.
I finished cleaning while Ronnie was at the store.
