I got to spend time with my family today while Ronnie went to hang out with some friends. He did come back to eat cake the family had bought for him. It was a good day. 

I did check on the animals, of course. I asked my friend how things were going, making sure Mattie had not run over her. She told me no and also told me Noma was doing better with strangers, however, I am pretty sure my friend is not a stranger to Noma anymore. 

My friend also had a scare with some chickens jumping out at her while she was filling up the cat bowls. I laughed so hard when she was telling me. The animals are good though. 

Ronnie and I did go out with some of Ronnie’s friends for his birthday. We had a good time.
