The second day of January continued to be cold out. We worked at making sure all of the animals had proper bedding, extra food and water. That was our only goal for the day. We checked on them several times throughout the day. We made sure they were all okay. I do not like the cold, but they all seemed perfectly happy even with the cold. The pigs were cuddled into some straw most of the day. The rest of the animals were doing their normal routines. The horses were running around more. The cows were running around like crazy. They were enjoying the colder weather. Not me. I was cold. I guess everyone should decide to accept the things they can’t change and enjoy those moments like the animals do.
